".........such subtle nuances and fiddly bits………I don’t want to ignore any of it just because it may be taxing ……..107x75 cms ….on the large side and difficult to manoeuvre, so I paint it on its' side upside down and from numerous angles, and every time I turn it around it changes my perception of what I’ve already painted......... sometimes helping my assessment of the detail ......allowing me to ‘see’ it better. Although this is for practical reasons it brings benefits to my visual analysis as I look anew……from a different point of view........ "
